An off-center hill in the Aube vineyard and overlooking the plain west of Troyes, Montgueux benefits from a limestone terroir remarkably suited to Chardonnay, unlike the rest of the Aube vineyard where the marl soils are mainly devoted to Pinot Noir. The estate's various plots – barely 4 hectares, to which are added purchases of rigorously selected grapes – are worked with total respect for the soil and the plant, without chemicals. The vintages are available according to the blending of plots \u003ci\u003e(Les Vignes de Montgueux, La Colline infirmières)\u003c\/i\u003e , or the plot selection \u003ci\u003e(Le Cotet)\u003c\/i\u003e , or the type of aging \u003ci\u003e(Soprano, Alto, Ténor)\u003c\/i\u003e , or even the vintage, thus defining stylistic variations that are extremely rare in
