Situated in the heart of the heart of the famous Quartier du Montparnasse, at 35 Rue Daguerre, La Cave des Papilles has been pursuing the same objective for more than 20 years: to help as many people as possible discover wines from France and beyond, as well as spirits that are wholesome and unadulterated, bio/biodynamic or natural. We’re talking about real wines that represent their “terroir”, products of both character and pleasure.
OUR CONVICTIONS
Our approach is based on convictions that we share with the most authentic and artisan winemakers from France and beyond:
• the conviction that true wine, far from the volume model, favours respect for nature and ecosystems.
• the conviction that authentic winemakers are defined by their desire to use no synthetic chemicals in the vineyard or cellar.
• the conviction that the expression of “terroir” translates into fruit and mineral characters that are not distorted by any artifices,
• the conviction that wines without chemical additives but with straightforward qualities are honest products and good for the consumer,
• the conviction that the natural wine producers that reflect their terroir and with whom we have a professional and amicable partnership, must be defended in their approach and in their products.
