From his first day behind the camera to the first wines from his estate in 2021, Pierre Goiset has come a long way, including training with Pierre-Jean Villa (Northern Rhône) and then settling in the Pays Nantais region within the Muscadet-Sèvre-et-Maine appellation. His vineyard, 3.5 hectares of old Melon de Bourgogne vines as well as Merlot, is cultivated using traditional methods according to organic/biodynamic principles to produce wines that are as natural as possible (low doses of sulfur at bottling), reflecting both the grape and the terroir. A small production, but expressive wines, full of sincerity, honesty, and energy.
