A passion for wine that led him to become a winemaker! Vincent Marie, attracted by the approach of the young generation from Auvergne (Patrick Bouju, Pierre Beauger), made this decisive choice by taking over a domain in 2015 – renamed No Control in a rock and punk spirit – in the Volvic region in the heart of Auvergne, where he adopted the organic/biodynamic practices learned from Patrick Meyer in Alsace. On plots with granite and volcanic soils, his 5 hectares of vines include Gamay d'Auvergne and Pinot Noir, but also Syrah ("Damas Noir") and various other unusual grape varieties, notably whites. The result of an uncompromising "nature" philosophy, the wines reveal a strong and frank personality.
