From his early experiences in viticulture and winemaking, Jérôme Lambert particularly valued the advice of Richard Leroy. A true Anjou native, farmer, and apprentice winemaker in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon, he gradually built up a small estate starting in the early 2000s, opting for chemical-free viticulture, natural winemaking without sulfur, and aging without oak. The 4 hectares of vines, patiently assembled, are primarily planted with Chenin Blanc, perfectly suited to the schist terroir characteristic of Anjou Noir, as well as red grape varieties (Cabernet Franc, Gamay, Grolleau), resulting in wines devoid of any demonstrative intent but, on the contrary, marked by their honesty, sincerity, and natural character.
