A novice, much like Yves Roy who embarked on a new venture in midlife, he decided to settle in his native Jura region, in Poligny, and in 2019 became a winemaker on 5 hectares of vines acquired in 2014. After training at the Montmorot agricultural college and with Valentin Morel (Domaine Les Pieds sur Terre in Poligny), he and his partner Christelle approached viticulture with very specific ideas: cultivation without chemical treatments (organic/biodynamic) and natural winemaking without any additives. The Jura grape varieties – primarily Ploussard and Savagnin – yield pure, natural wines, bursting with fruit, in cuvées aged first in tanks and then in barrels. Furthermore, to broaden his portfolio, he participates in the activities of the small négociant house O2Y, using grapes from various vineyards.
