Madloba

Paul Estève, formerly of the Dard et Ribo winery, and his partner Chrystelle Vareille established their estate in 2003/2004, starting with a few family vines and 3 hectares in the Saint-Joseph appellation. Their commitment to producing natural wines without any chemicals or additives took on a new dimension after discovering traditional Georgian macerated wines, leading them to vinify and age their white and red wines in qvevri-style terracotta jars. The vineyard, initially gradually expanded to 6 hectares, has been concentrated since 2020 on its best plots (2.5 hectares). This demanding philosophy results in wines of great intensity, with highly expressive fruit and a texture that is both robust and silky.
