Emeline Calvez & Sébastien Bobinet
Coming from a long line of winemakers, Sébastien Bobinet took over the small family vineyards in 2002, located in the Saumur/Saumur-Champigny appellation, which he has since expanded to 4 hectares. Inspired by winemakers like Olivier Cousin and agro-ecological thinkers like Pierre Rabhi, he is committed to a natural approach to cultivation and winemaking, without chemicals or additives (except for the occasional small dose of sulfur when necessary). With his partner Emeline Calvez, a former sommelier who joined him in 2011, he is developing the estate with a strong conviction: the kind that leads to vibrant and healthy wines, and a constant ambition: to offer wines of pure pleasure. His approach, marked by remarkable creativity, aligns with the "natural" movement that is driving the new generation of Saumur winemakers.
