A pioneering family estate in organic farming (since 1980) in the Rhône Valley vineyards, La Roche Buissière has been run by Antoine and Laurence Joly since 1999 with a steadfast commitment to respecting nature. The 18 hectares of vines, located near Vaison-la-Romaine in the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation and composed primarily of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault, receive no chemical treatments (nor do the 3 hectares of olive trees in the Nyons appellation). Winemaking, facilitated by controlled yields and the health of the harvest, is entirely natural. The wines have long been recognized for their authenticity, character, and easy drinkability.
