The Winegrowers

Domaine Gramenon

Domaine Gramenon

An undisputed pioneer of organic farming in the Rhône Valley, Domaine Gramenon was founded by Philippe and Michèle Laurent in 1978 and has been cultivated from the very beginning using the most natural methods possible. Now spanning 27 hectares, it is managed by Michèle Aubéry-Laurent and her son Maxime-François. Located in the Drôme Provençale region, near Montbrison-sur-Lez, Valréas, and Vinsobres, the vineyard is primarily planted with Grenache, including a significant proportion of very old vines that express the terroir with remarkable intensity. Syrah is also planted, and for the white wines, Viognier and Clairette are used. The pursuit of natural wines, without the use of any additives, results in wines instantly recognizable for their rich, fleshy fruit, their pure and intense flavor, and their profound velvety texture.
