The Winegrowers
Jamet family
Initially practicing mixed farming, Domaine Jamet developed its wine-growing division in
the 70s and signed its first vintages in 1976, at the time when the
Brothers Jean-Paul and Jean-Luc are taking over from their father. Driven since
2013 by Jean-Paul alone with his wife Corinne, soon joined by
Their children Loïc and then Fanny, the estate now covers 20 hectares of
vines spread across multiple plots within the Côte-Rôtie appellation (Syrah) as well
than in Condrieu (Viognier). Traditional practices, in the vineyard as in
wine cellars, managed with great rigor, and the exceptional diversity of
schist soils of the different localities which give all its complexity to the
Côte-Rôtie from the estate, in addition to the single-vineyard wines (Côte-Brune, La
Landonne) and the Condrieu vintage, these are the determining factors of a
reputation among the strongest and most enduringly established in the Northern Rhône.
