Géraud Fromont

Géraud Fromont

Created in 2006 by Pauline and Géraud Fromont, the Domaine des Marnes Blanches is located in the village of Sainte-Agnès, south of Lons-le-Saunier, in this region of South Revermont which has earned its letters of nobility with renowned estates such as that of Jean-François Ganevat or that of the Labet family. Trained oenologists, Pauline and Géraud Fromont have created a vineyard of around fifteen hectares in the Côtes-du-Jura appellation, with plots on marl (white marl, in particular...) or on limestone soils. The vines are cultivated organically, and the vinifications, carried out plot by plot and grape variety by grape variety, give free rein to the natural expression of each terroir to translate into vintages with a strong personality, but all imbued with a freshness, a straightforwardness and a brilliance which place this discreet estate among the finest successes of the young generation of Jura.
