By abandoning teaching mathematics, Philippe Delmée made a passionate choice and opted for viticulture. Based in Anjou in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon vineyard, he began his winemaking activity in 2009 and made it his full-time profession in 2011. Benefiting from the advice of Benoît Courault, he committed to a chemical-free cultivation and natural vinification on his 5 hectares of vines (Chenin, Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, Pineau d'Aunis) which are expressed in cuvées where the fruit and minerality of the terroir blend with a truly Loire-style frankness.
