What is natural wine?

Natural wine is made with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and cellar. Our vignerons practice organic or biodynamic viticulture, use indigenous yeasts for fermentation, and add little to no sulfites. Natural wines express the pure character of the grape, terroir, and vintage without manipulation.

How should I store this wine?

Store your natural wine in a cool, dark place at a consistent temperature between 10-15°C (50-59°F). Keep bottles on their side to keep the cork moist. Avoid temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight. Natural wines are living products and will continue to evolve in the bottle.

Is this wine organic or biodynamic?

All wines in our selection are made using organic viticulture practices. Many are certified organic or biodynamic. Our artisan vignerons are committed to sustainable agriculture, minimal intervention winemaking, and respect for the terroir. What is your return policy?

If your wine arrives damaged, we offer a full refund or replacement. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged bottle and packaging. For quality concerns, contact us and we'll work with you to find a solution. Customer satisfaction is our priority.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by location: 1-hour express delivery in Paris, same-day or next-day delivery in the Paris region, 2-5 business days in mainland France, 5-10 business days for international orders. From his years as a sheep shearer to his return to his native land, Christian Venier's journey culminated in the vineyards of his family farm in Candé-sur-Beuvron, within the Cheverny appellation. His first vintages date back to 1995, and from the outset, he embraced a natural approach, excluding all chemical treatments in vine cultivation and all additives in winemaking (notably no added sulfur), following in the footsteps of his cousins, the Puzelat family (Clos du Tue-Bœuf), and Christian Chaussard, then a winemaker and teacher at the Amboise agricultural college. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Menu Pineau for the whites, and Gamay and Pinot Noir for the reds, give rise to wines characterized by an earthy elegance that places them among the most compelling achievements of the Cheverny appellation.
