Montagne de Stras

Passionate about viticulture (Mikaël, after studying oenology, trained with winemakers like Thierry Puzelat and Hervé Villemade) and archaeology (Camille), the Hyvert couple found their ideal home in the Auvergne region. In 2016, taking over from Jean-Pierre Pradier, a key figure in the revival of Côtes d'Auvergne wines at his Domaine des Trouillères, they acquired a vineyard cultivated organically since 2009, comprising 6 hectares spread across basaltic soils (Puy de Corent) and clay-limestone soils (Puy de Marmant, Montagne de Stras). By adhering to a natural approach (indigenous yeasts, no oenological additives, little or no sulfur) in juicy and luscious wines, their cuvées explore the expressions of the terroir's character in all its diversity and nuance.
