Passionate about viticulture (Mikaël, after studying oenology, trained with winemakers like Thierry Puzelat and Hervé Villemade) and archaeology (Camille), the Hyvert couple found their chosen land in Auvergne. Taking over in 2016 from Jean-Pierre Pradier, a major player in the revival of the Côtes d'Auvergne on his Domaine des Trouillères, they acquired a vineyard cultivated organically since 2009, 6 ha spread over basalt soils (Puy de Corent) and clay-limestone soils (Puy de Marmant, Montagne de Stras). By respecting a natural approach (indigenous yeasts, no oenological inputs, little or no sulfur) in juicy and gourmet wines, their vintages explore the expressions of the character of the terroirs in their diversity and nuances.
