Julien Delrieu and Thibaut Ducleux, two former partners of the Les Roches Sèches estate created in 2010 in Faveraye-Mâcherelles, an Angevin village which was grouped together in 2015 with other wine-growing villages in the Layon Valley under the name Bellevigne-en-Layon. Julien became independent in 2017, soon joined by Thibaut on a 4-hectare estate with a terroir mainly of schist typical of Anjou Noir and suitable for Chenin, but also for Grolleau and Cabernet Franc. With the strong “nature” conviction that drives the winemakers, the wines reveal a true expression of terroir and are frank and pure with a beautiful drinkability.
