Laurence Manya-Krief

In 2005, Laurence Manya-Krief – known as Yoyo – left the fashion world to settle in Roussillon and acquire 2 hectares of vines on the schist terroir of Banyuls/Collioure, including century-old Grenache and Carignan, followed by an additional 3 hectares in 2009. Another 3 hectares were acquired in 2010, this time on the granitic arena terroir at the foothills of the Albères, and finally 2 hectares in Banyuls (Paulilles) in 2021. In the meantime, Laurie Manya, Yoyo's niece, joined the estate. Organic farming, cover crops, plant-based treatments, manual soil work, low yields – everything is done to obtain the healthiest grapes and enable natural winemaking that expresses both fruit and terroir. Whether from Banyuls or the Albères, the wines offer a frank and assertive character, with an increasingly balanced and elegant texture, free of any heaviness.
