The Winegrowers

Michel Guignier

By taking over part of the family vineyards, in the northern part of the
Beaujolais, Michel Guignier has adapted his practices at the turning point
from the 2000s towards biodynamics, notably by favoring the
polyculture (in addition to viticulture, cereals, fruit trees and
(the livestock farm). Located in Vauxrenard in a remote area, its vineyard
includes 4 hectares of Gamay in the Beaujolais-Villages appellation area,
to which are added plots in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation areas
and Fleurie. Her determination to work in a traditional way without
no chemicals or oenological inputs are used to produce wines
living and natural is reflected in cuvées entirely focused on
the expression of the character of the terroir and the singularity of the vintage.
An authenticity that is combined with a remarkable ability to
to evolve well and gain in complexity.
