The Winegrowers
François Dumas
After various formative experiences (Burgundy, Rhône Valley),
François Dumas returns to his native land, on the border of the Saint- appellations
Joseph and Condrieu, to create his estate in 2009/2010. On a human scale,
His vineyard covers 4 hectares, cultivated without any use of treatments.
chemical and with very low-intervention principles inspired by
Masanobu Fukuoka's "natural agriculture." Low-yield products,
Syrah and Viognier are distinguished by both their finesse, their
balanced intensity and their minerality, as well as the Gamay which expresses itself,
on the plateau that crowns the hillsides, in a dense and spicy juice. Discreet and
demanding, an estate that combines peasant virtues and the elegance of
precision.
