Anna Rubio & Jean-Benoît Vivequain

Jean-Benoît Vivequain and Anna Rubio settled in Cucugnan, in the Hautes-Corbières, at the foot of the Château de Quéribus, in 2014, after a trip around the world.

Inspired by the Maori Koru, a symbol of renewal and growth, their project, Voluta, was born.

The estate comprises 7 hectares of vines cultivated using organic farming methods, at an altitude of 300 meters. The plots, surrounded by garrigue, host old Grenache, Carignan and Syrah vines ranging from 20 to 70 years old, as well as recent plantings of Macabeu and Grenache Gris.

Every intervention is questioned for its necessity and impact, in a philosophy akin to "non-intervention." Winemaking takes place without additives or sulfites in their cellar in Cucugnan. Jean-Benoît and Anna readily blend different vintages and experiment with oxidation to create depth and complexity. Each cuvée is unique and never repeated. Living, healthy, and free wines.
