After studying agronomy and oenology and gaining extensive experience, including with Sylvain Pataille in Burgundy, Mathilde Magne settled in Anjou in 2022, in the Coteaux du Layon region, so well-suited to Chenin Blanc, but also to Pineau d'Aunis and Grolleau, among others. The ambition, reflected in the estate's name, is to showcase the terroir and its preferred grape varieties, and to express an inventive freedom. In the vineyards (approximately 8 hectares), attention is paid to soil health, respect for biodiversity, and the full quality of the grapes—essential requirements for natural and minimally interventionist winemaking. Following carefully considered aging processes, the wines reveal a refined and profound character, brimming with energy.
